Sachs Chemical

“We look forward to having a long-term relationship with the Central American Group.”

Welcome to Sachs Chemical’s Costa Rican distribution facility. Sachs was established in 1986 and is recognized as a chemical distributor serving the Puerto Rican, Caribbean, and Central American markets. We currently have a team of more than 35 dedicated specialists and sales reaching 39$ million.

We decided to establish operations in Costa Rica when one of our largest clients asked if we could help with their distribution operations. Here in Costa Rica we will be providing clients with a high degree of industry expertise, custom packaging, specialty labeling, and chemical warehousing.

After analyzing the local business environment, we realized that we could grow along with the Costa Rican economy. Sachs has chosen to locate a facility in the Central American Group’s Green Park Free Trade Zone because of the facilities brand new construction, its location, and its price.

Establishing our facility at the Green Park has enabled us to get our business up and running. The entire Green Park team has been extremely valuable and helpful during the startup process. We are looking forward to having a productive and mutually beneficial relationship with the Green Park for many years to come.

ATS

“Distribution throughout Central America with flexibility and speed.”

The Central American Group (CAG) sits down to speak with Carlos Armando Lemus, president of Grupo ATS.

Grupo ATS distributes concessionary supplies to movie theaters in eight Latin American countries. The items that they provide to their clients include everything from popcorn to packaging products.

The Central American Group manages the ATS inventory from its free zone base in El Salvador and distributes ATS’ products throughout the region. In addition to inventory and distribution, the CAG’s experts make sure that ATS controls its costs through the successful navigation of customs rules and regulations in each of the markets in which it operates. Future plans for the company include establishing further Central American distribution capabilities at the Central American Group’s Green Park in Alajuela, Costa Rica.
