The Costa Rican Space Agency has been created

On February 8, 2021, the Congress of the country passed a law that created the Costa Rican Space Agency (ACS) to promote space as a development tool for the nation’s industry and economy.

There initiallly was a fear that Congress would veto the measure for budgetary reasons. Costa Rican President Carlos Alvarado acted to ease lawmakers” concerns.

The Central American Group client company, the Seoul, South Korea-based Youngone Corporation has been recently named one of El Salvador’s top 10 exporters. This announcement was made by Camtex, El Salvador’s Textile Industry Chamber of Commerce. Other companies that were honored include internationally recognized multi-national firms such as Hanes Brands Inc. and Fruit of the Loom.
